The alternative would had been to stop the release of ANYTHING about 2 years ago, and remain all focused on that massive change in one shot instead of use any effort to keep the game alive with regular content. The changes they need to do in order to leverage all the capabilities of modern hardware could still take them a few years to be completed. The base of the games is old and it has been continuously evolved, but there's still a lot of work to be done. But that will not change what they need to do and their scheduling for doing it. ![]()
